About the Team

 

We are a friendly and diverse group of individuals located in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico with varying levels of experience in the reinsurance industry. We support North America Property and Casualty Reinsurance teams and units in delivering on their core mandates. We are part of a global team called Reinsurance Business Operations, and we collaborate closely with our colleagues all over the world.

 

About the Role

 

Provide our team of Facultative Underwriters with support for all non–client facing activities, including but not limited to:

  • Data entry of Submission risk clearance
  • Policy tracking and client follow-ups for missing documents
  • Provide administrative support regarding records management and processes for the business relationships in his/her area of responsibility
  • Assists in the planning and reporting process including data gathering and data entry
  • Enforces and maintains guidelines throughout all facultative risks including archiving and storage planning

 

Additionally, this role requires someone who feels comfortable working with data, identifying inconsistencies, and organizing information in a clear and reliable way. A big part of the job is handling information flows, spotting gaps, and ensuring accuracy across systems and documents — so an analytical mindset and ease with structured tasks are essential.

 

About You

 

  • Proven experience in the (re)insurance industry, preferably in operational, underwriting support, or business services roles
  • Strong understanding of operational processes such as submissions handling, policy documentation and general reinsurance workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex information accurately
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, proactive thinking, and effectiveness as a team player
  • Applies sound judgment, logic, and common sense in decision-making
  • Strong customer focus and service orientation, especially when supporting underwriters and stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in tasks, priorities, and operational needs
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to support underwriters in different locations and time zones
  • Demonstrates willingness to share knowledge and act as a reference point for less experienced team members
  • Comfortable working with data, spotting inconsistencies, and maintaining organized and accurate information across multiple systems
  • Experience identifying process gaps and contributing to operational improvements
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for end-to-end task completion
