About this role

We are looking for you – a talented communicator to support our Swiss Re communications team in driving employee engagement during an exciting period of AI transformation, strategic growth and cultural change. You will bring fresh ideas, a flair for storytelling, and an appetite to utilise new tools and formats to engage employees.  

 

 

About the Role

As an Employee Communications Associate, you'll be at the heart of aligning our global workforce with Swiss Re's strategic vision. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to craft compelling narratives that inspire and inform, while utilizing innovative tools and formats to enhance employee engagement.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy activation across internal and external channels – implementing communication activities for all pillars of the Group strategy including AI transformation and culture change
  • Content creation – develop high-quality and engaging articles, blogs, videos, and interviews in English for various channels
  • Event management – help organize townhalls and other events to align employees with the strategy
  • Digital channel coordination – manage and coordinate content for digital platforms
  • Insights reporting – support strategy sentiment reporting, collating and presenting valuable insights
  • Content publishing – maintain digital channels and oversee production of video and other visual content

About You

You're a creative communicator with a talent for translating complex ideas into engaging stories. You thrive in collaborative environments while being able to drive projects independently. Your digital savvy and openness to new tools and approaches make you an ideal candidate to help shape our communication strategies.

 

 

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Communications, Change/Digital Management, Marketing or Journalism
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Communications, ideally in internal, change or digital communication
  • Strong storytelling, writing and editing capabilities in English
  • Excellent conceptual, planning and project management skills
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms

 

 

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Experience in change management communications
  • Knowledge of video production and visual storytelling techniques
  • Experience working in a global, multicultural environment
  • Understanding of financial services or insurance industry
  • Proficiency in additional languages

 

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.

 

The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
