About the Role
As an SAP Reporting Expert, you'll design and implement sophisticated analytics solutions that enable stakeholders to extract valuable knowledge from complex financial datasets. You'll utilize your expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, OO ABAP, and Microsoft Azure to create performant, scalable, and maintainable reporting solutions that support financial reconciliation, steering, and auditing processes.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and design advanced analytics solutions leveraging SAP and Microsoft platforms

Develop and enhance analytical solutions using SAP Embedded Analytics (CDS views), OO ABAP, Microsoft PowerBI and Databricks

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs

Deliver end-to-end analytics solutions that meet business needs on time and with high quality

Optimize existing solutions for performance and scalability

Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices and standards

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions

Document solutions thoroughly to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability
About the Team
The SAP reporting team (Reinsurance), within the Finance Reporting & Analytics product area, delivers performant, scalable, and maintainable solutions that enable our stakeholders to quickly extract knowledge from large and disparate financial datasets. Our solutions support financial reconciliation, steering, and auditing based primarily from subledger data on the SAP S/4 HANA and Microsoft Azure Data platforms. You will act as an expert within this collaborative and innovative team, with responsibility for development and maintenance along the full life cycle of our solutions. This includes the design and implementation of functionalities that enable fast and reliable reporting of data, while collaborating with customers and contributing to best practices in your area of expertise.
About You
You're a technically skilled professional with a passion for analytics and a talent for translating complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions. Your excellent communication skills enable you to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet real-world needs.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

8+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing reporting solutions based on SAP Embedded Analytics (CDS views, ABAP), with HANA native DB experience being an advantage

6+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience with strong command of ABAP objects, REST API, OO ABAP, BAPIS, SQL, performance tuning and debugging

Strong experience in all phases of the Analytics solution development process including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, testing and documentation

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
These are additional nice to haves:

Experience with financial systems and/or financial services companies

Basic functional knowledge of FPSL or Bank Analyzer with exposure to CVPM framework

Working experience with Databricks, Python, Microsoft Azure Analytics components and PowerBI

Experience working in agile development environments

Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to technical standards
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
