About the role
SweetRush is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support a Command Center team for a leader in the autonomous trucking industry. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate operational data, managing inbound and outbound communications, and supporting customer and finance-related workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment.

This is a remote role (location near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex preferred), W2 Contract, 40 hours per week, for 6 months, with the opportunity to renew upon client need and resource performance. SweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and generally available during established working hours.

Hourly Range
*Houlry rate is negotiable and commensurate with the junior to mid-level experience. 

Responsibilities 

Essential functions include:  

• Dispatch Support: Execute accurate data entry and real-time system updates to maintain operational continuity.
• Communication Management: Monitor and triage shared inboxes, responding to operational emails with professional etiquette.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Provide status updates and follow-ups to customers and internal teams.
• Financial Tracking: Handle routine billing communications, including invoice confirmations, payment follow-up, and documentation.
• Reporting: 
  • Manage daily operational updates and escalate critical issues to leadership as needed. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure operational continuity and data accuracy. 

Required Skills  

• Experience: 1–4 years in operations support, dispatch, logistics, customer operations, or a similar role.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using proprietary Command Center systems and virtual collaboration tools (Google Suite, Salesforce, etc.).
• Soft Skills: Strong written communication, excellent email and follow-up etiquette, close attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in time-sensitive environments.
• Remote Ready: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and be "technically savvy" in a distributed work environment.   

Bonus Skills 

• Prior experience with autonomous vehicle operations, command center, fleet logistics, or finance-related communications.
• Experience working remotely in a distributed team.
