SWBC is seeking a talented individual who will provide administrative and operational support to the HR function. This role assists employees and management with HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws. The position supports day-to-day employee relations inquiries and administrative tasks, working closely with the local Human Resources Manager to deliver a positive employee experience.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct onboarding, orientation, and training for new employees to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interviews.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, such as health and life insurance, in accordance with local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure files are organized and updated to comply with Mexican labor laws.
  • Support employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexico employment laws and company policies.
  • Respond to day-to-day employee relations questions and provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Coordinate HR projects and assist with communication and implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR processes.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience; HR experience strongly preferred.
  • English fluency level of B2, C1, or C2 required.
  • Able to write and type in English.
  • Knowledge of Mexican labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
