Job Summary
The Warehouse Clerical / Shipping Clerk plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by maintaining accurate data and ensuring on-time delivery for customers. This position works closely with customers, brokers, and freight forwarders to track shipments in transit, verify delivery status, and resolve issues as they arise. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with data in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate shipment and warehouse data to support on-time deliveries
- Monitor shipments in transit and verify delivery status
- Communicate with customers, brokers, and freight forwarders regarding shipment issues or updates
- Research and resolve shipping discrepancies or delays
- Enter, update, and maintain data using Microsoft Excel and internal systems
- Support warehouse and logistics teams with clerical and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Microsoft Excel experience (required)
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a warehouse clerical role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively with internal and external partners
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
