Pay Rate: $16+ per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Upholsterer to join our team in Tupelo, MS. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing, restoring, and creating upholstered furniture and interiors. This role involves working with a variety of materials—including fabric, leather, padding, and springs—to bring new life to furniture or create custom pieces according to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, restore, and construct upholstered furniture and interiors.
- Measure, cut, sew, and attach upholstery materials to furniture frames.
- Replace or repair padding, springs, webbing, and fabric as needed.
- Collaborate with clients or design teams to achieve desired looks and finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly handled.
- Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and durability.
- Follow safety standards and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in upholstery or related field (automotive, furniture, marine, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to measure, cut, and sew with precision.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move furniture as required.
