Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to support the design, development, and improvement of mechanical equipment and systems. This role focuses on creating practical, safe, and manufacturable designs while supporting production and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment using 2D & 3D CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare design specifications
- Conduct simulations and analysis (FEA preferred)
- Design and troubleshoot hydraulic systems
- Review designs for compliance with engineering, safety, and quality standards
- Support manufacturing with design updates and troubleshooting
- Assist with testing, validation, and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (required)
- 3–5 years of mechanical or electro-mechanical design experience preferred
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD & SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working in shop and manufacturing environments
