Job Summary- 2nd shift!
We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operators to support scrap and material movement within a manufacturing facility. This role requires experience operating industrial forklifts, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport, load, unload, and stage scrap materials throughout the facility
- Move materials to designated scrap, recycling, or disposal areas
- Inspect materials for damage or irregularities and report issues promptly
- Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate activity logs and inventory records as required
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
- Support production flow and plant productivity as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts or similar industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as required
- Prior scrap, recycling, or manufacturing experience preferred
