Job Title: Coper Machine Operator
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$22 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Coper Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating automated machinery used in the drilling and cutting of structural steel components, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to ensure accurate machine setup and operation

Operate automated machinery, including CNC plasma cutters, to drill holes and cut structural steel beams and plates

Perform precise cuts to meet specifications required for assembly

Conduct routine quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards

Perform minor machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting as needed

Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move steel materials

Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, policies, and procedures

Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications

Previous experience operating coper machines, CNC machinery, or similar automated equipment preferred

Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Experience operating forklifts (certification a plus)

Ability to work in an industrial/manufacturing environment
