About this role

Job Description:
We are seeking a CNC/Index Production Supervisor to maintain staffing, organization, and planning of production through the Index and CNC departments. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing personnel, and ensuring production efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce company policies and issue warnings for violations

  • Assist in hiring and termination decisions

  • Prepare and conduct employee performance reviews

  • Distribute weekly paychecks

  • Schedule and prioritize jobs for CNC/Index departments

  • Oversee daily production on CNC/Index machines

  • Print job travelers and material pick sheets for CNC/Index machines

  • Prepare weekly schedules and coordinate work with CNC/Index employees

  • Maintain production schedule in Vantage

  • Review daily production reports and correct labor entry errors in Vantage

  • Follow up with Quality Control on first-piece approvals

  • Fill out tooling requisitions for the Tool Room

  • Enter and maintain monthly preventive maintenance records

  • Review new quotes and process changes in routings

  • Work with Sales department to provide delivery dates as requested

  • Requisition tooling, supplies, and services

  • Investigate quality issues and complete Corrective Action Requests

  • Conduct internal ISO audits

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of management experience

  • Knowledge of machining processes and CNC machines

  • Ability to read blueprints, understand GD&T, and use inspection equipment

  • Familiarity with tooling and production planning

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
