Job Title: CDL Class A Spotter Driver – 1st Shift
Location: Blue Springs, MS 38828
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Some overtime may be required)
Pay Rate: $20.00+ per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused CDL Class A Spotter Driver to join our team in Blue Springs, Mississippi. This position is responsible for efficiently and safely moving trailers within the yard, positioning them at dock doors, and supporting daily warehouse and transportation operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely move, spot, and park trailers in and out of dock doors and designated yard areas.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, dispatch, and shipping departments to coordinate trailer movements.
- Ensure trailers are properly chocked, secured, and positioned to meet operational needs.
- Maintain yard organization and assist with yard inventory tracking.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Perform additional duties as needed to support logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A License (required)Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
- Minimum of 1 year of CDL driving or yard spotting experience preferred
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work occasional overtime
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
