Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Inventory Analyst to support financial operations, inventory management, and manufacturing reporting. This role works closely with the CFO/CEO, Bookkeeper, and Operations team to manage accounts payable and receivable, oversee inventory through Fishbowl, and maintain accurate cost and manufacturing data across multiple SKUs and warehouses.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys complex Excel work, inventory math, and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Support
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Work closely with the Bookkeeper to ensure accurate financial records
- Support financial reporting and analysis for the CFO and CEO
- Maintain and reconcile financial data using QuickBooks
- Prepare reports, summaries, and Excel spreadsheets with multiple layers of complexity
Inventory & Manufacturing Management
- Manage inventory within Fishbowl Inventory Management System
- Oversee approximately 175 SKUs, each with unique components and formulations
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all SKUs
- Generate and manage Manufacturing Orders
- Maintain and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) across all products
- Perform inventory transfers between multiple warehouses to support manufacturing needs
- Manage raw material inventory with vendors and maintain reorder points
- Convert dry weight components and liquid additives accurately (high-volume math and calculations required)
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare detailed inventory and financial reports for leadership
- Analyze Fishbowl reports and Excel data to support decision-making
- Ensure inventory accuracy, cost integrity, and system alignment between Fishbowl and QuickBooks
Qualifications
- Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience using Fishbowl Inventory (strongly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, multi-layer spreadsheets, data analysis)
- Manufacturing or inventory-driven environment experience preferred
- Strong math skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage complex data and multiple priorities
- Comfortable working directly with executive leadership
