Overview: The Construction Manager II will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The Construction Manager II will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring project delivery is on time and within budget, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership abilities, extensive construction management experience, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: 1.    Project Planning and Coordination: -    Lead the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project management and engineering teams. -    Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites. -    Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with project requirements. 2.    Construction Execution and Supervision: -    Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, including subcontractor work, equipment installations, and material handling. -    Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track. -    Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. 3.    Quality Assurance and Control: -    Establish and enforce quality control procedures and standards to ensure workmanship, materials, and finished products meet project specifications. -    Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of construction to identify and address quality issues and deviations from standards. -    Implement corrective actions and follow-up measures to ensure timely resolution of quality deficiencies. 4.    Team Leadership and Development: -    Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, including field personnel, subcontractors, and support staff. -    Set performance expectations and goals for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback. -    Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among project teams. 5.    Stakeholder Communication: -    Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies. -    Communicate effectively with project management and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, issues, and changes. -    Address stakeholder concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner to maintain positive relationships and ensure project success. QualificationsQualifications: -    Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). -    Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of managing commercial construction projects. -    Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and industry best practices. -    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. -    Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver results on time and within budget. -    Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
