About the Role:
We are inviting Expressions of Interest for a Site Inspector (Civil) to supervise the installation of utilities and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) works across Dubai. The position requires hands-on field experience, strong awareness of existing underground utilities, and the capability to identify utilities during site inspections. You will ensure contractors adhere to method statements, quality standards, and safety requirements while supporting coordination with service authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct day-to-day site inspections for HDD and utilities works.
- Monitor contractor activities for quality, compliance, and safety.
- Identify existing utilities and verify safe excavation practices.
- Assist in coordinating site requirements with service authorities.
- Verify method statements, drawings, and inspection/test plans.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and inspection logs.
- Highlight non-conformances and follow up corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years experience in utilities installation within Dubai.
- Minimum 5 years supervision of HDD works.
- Strong technical understanding of Dubai’s utility networks and ability to identify utilities on-site.
- Familiarity with NOC procedures, site documentation, and Dubai authority standards.
- Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
