About the Role:
We are seeking an Urban Planner / Designer to support the delivery of planning and urban design projects within our Abu Dhabi studio. This role is suited to a motivated professional with strong technical foundations, capable of managing smaller to medium-scale projects, supporting client engagement, and contributing to high-quality multidisciplinary outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as designer or project manager for small to mid-scale planning and urban design projects, accountable for deliverables and milestones.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related client, finance, and administrative matters.
- Demonstrate sound understanding of planning practice from concept development through to implementation strategies.
- Develop project work plans, schedules, and Estimates at Completion (EAC) to meet agreed timelines.
- Review project contracts and ensure compliance with scope and deliverables at all stages.
- Identify project risks and issues, proposing clear and practical solutions.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, building effective working relationships and long-term rapport.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a related discipline.
- Professional registration preferred.
- Demonstrated portfolio covering a range of planning and urban design project types.
