Part of SJ Group, Prostruct is a specialist consultancy for Protective Technology and Civil & Structural Engineering. Established in 2012, we have grown to be one of Singapore’s leading blast consulting firms. We offer integrated and customised solutions for protecting buildings and infrastructure against blast and other explosive effects, therefore designing for the safe storage across multiple industries.
We are looking for a proactive and innovative Senior Engineer to join our team in designing and delivering Protective Security Engineering solutions.
Based in our SJ Campus at 38 Cleantech Loop, you will work on exciting projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with clients, multi-disciplinary consultants, and contractors to create safe, efficient, and future-ready environments.

What You’ll Do
- Design, analyse, and plan Protective Security Engineering systems and solutions.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, clients and relevant authorities across all project phases.
- Deliver designs, drawings and reports on time and to high technical standards.
- Manage project progress to ensure objectives on time, cost and quality are met.
- Prepare tender documents and drawings, evaluate proposals, and provide recommendations to clients.
- Oversee and coordinate site activities, conduct regular inspections, and attend project meetings during construction.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-driven, curious, and eager to take on new challenges.
- Professional certifications such as Competent Person (Security) are advantageous.
- A recognized degree in Electrical, Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline, ideally accredited by the Professional Engineers Board (advantageous).
- Familiar with engineering design software such as AutoCAD or similar software.
- Experience in security systems design or with a specialist contractor/ integrator (a plus).
- Candidates with over 3 years of relevant experience may be considered for senior position.
