About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Design & Technical Manager/Coordinator with strong expertise in Façade Engineering and ABWF/IDFO to oversee design integration, technical compliance, and multidisciplinary coordination across the project lifecycle. This onsite role is responsible for managing design coordination, technical reviews, compliance, design-contractor interface management, and ensuring seamless integration of all façade and interior package works. Chinese-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply due to the client’s preferences and coordination needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage detailed design documentation across all relevant disciplines.
• Work closely with sub-consultants to ensure compliance with architectural intent and international/local standards.
• Integrate and manage BIM workflows for coordinated design outputs.
• Lead review, comment, and approval processes for technical drawings and specifications.
• Resolve design conflicts and facilitate integration across building systems.
• Manage mock-up reviews, samples, and material approval processes.
• Support submission of design packages for approvals with Saudi authorities (where required).
• Monitor design schedules, long-lead items, and submission timelines to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct regular design and quality audits to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Identify design-related risks, evaluate implications, and support mitigation strategies.
• Act as a key interface between client, contractor, and design teams.
• Support coordination with Chinese-speaking contractors or stakeholders (preferred skill).
• Recommend innovation and sustainability solutions aligned with Vision 2030 and industry best practices.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8-15 years’ experience in façade engineering, ABWF/IDFO, or multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Strong understanding of KSA regulations, design standards, and approval pathways.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale or complex building projects (Middle East experience preferred).
• Proficiency in BIM-based design coordination.
• Chinese language skills (Mandarin) are highly preferred due to client and project coordination requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
