Role Purpose


The Director, Strategic Communications & Reputation is a global-level role responsible for leading strategic communications, reputation management, focused on safeguarding trust and crisis communications across the Group. The role ensures disciplined, consistent and credible external messaging, protects the company’s reputation in high-risk situations and builds communications standards aligned with institutional and governance expectations.


Key responsibilities



  • Lead group-level strategic communications and corporate narrative across all markets

  • Own reputation management, issues monitoring and crisis communications at group level

  • Prepare and manage communications for high-impact, sensitive or reputationally complex situations

  • Ensure strict messaging discipline and consistency across leadership, markets and external channels

  • Act as a trusted communications advisor to CEO & senior leadership

  • Work closely with Chief Global Affairs Officer and VP Corporate Affairs on communications requiring heightened governance, risk and disclosure awareness

  • Develop and maintain crisis, issues and reputation management playbooks

  • Coordinate and manage external PR, strategic communications and crisis advisors

  • Advise leadership on reputational implications of corporate, regulatory and market developments


Experience & Qualifications 





  • 10+ years of senior experience in strategic communications, reputation management or corporate affairs

  • Strong background in PR, crisis communications and issues management

  • Experience operating in complex, regulated or high-reputation-risk environments

  • Exposure to major corporate transformations (e.g. IPO preparation, listings, M&A, restructurings) is a strong advantage

  • Proven ability to operate under pressure with sound judgment and discretion

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
