Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trade Analyst  to support daily operations within our Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international trade and compliance processes, including logistics coordination, export documentation, and internal collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of global trade regulations, excellent organizational skills, and is eager to grow their career in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day Global Trade Compliance operations across export and import activities.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing trade documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. and international regulations (e.g., EAR, Customs).
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Shipping, Engineering, Procurement) and external partners (customs brokers, freight forwarders) to facilitate timely and compliant shipments.
  • Monitor and track international shipments, proactively resolving delays or issues.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for export licenses, transactions, and related compliance documents.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of internal GTC processes and policies.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews, ensuring documentation and procedures meet regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed on relevant changes in trade laws and regulations and communicate key updates to the team.
  • Assist in data entry and reporting related to GTC metrics and performance.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in Trade Compliance, International Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of U.S. export regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR) and international trade practices.
  • Experience with shipping and logistics coordination is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Trade compliance certifications or training are a plus (e.g., CUSECO, EXIM compliance courses).

Salary Range

$37.00 - $40.00 

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
