Job Summary:

Are you passionate about web development? We have a great opportunity for a web developer who can create, customize and maintain the website's design and User Interface of the Supermicro website. In this role, you will have opportunity to edit and control the content which is being displayed on the website and continue to update with the emerging technologies and trends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to gather insights and identify user needs.
  2. Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to visualize interface functionality and aesthetics.
  3. Leverage AI-powered tools to rapidly generate and iterate on interactive prototypes from natural language prompts or design imports (vibe coding approach).
  4. Design original graphic elements (icons, illustrations, buttons, navigation components, etc.) while maintaining visual consistency.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot UX issues (e.g., usability problems, responsiveness across devices).
  6. Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to ensure seamless design implementation and iteration.
  7. Analyze user feedback and product metrics to drive ongoing improvements and optimizations.
  8. Participate in product reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional meetings.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
  2. 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end projects (experience in enterprise software or B2B products is a plus).
  3. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma (primary), Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Framer, or similar.
  4. Experience conducting user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) and translating insights into actionable design decisions.
  5. Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and basic HTML/CSS is a plus, enabling effective collaboration with developers.
  6. Excellent communication skills (both English and Mandarin preferred) with the ability to present and defend design decisions to technical stakeholders.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have:
    1. Experience designing complex dashboards, data visualizations, or infrastructure management tools.
    2. Familiarity with AI-assisted prototyping tools (e.g., vibe coding with Cursor, v0, or similar).
    3. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
