Purpose:

To provide transportation support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community.

Qualifications:

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings 
• Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status                                                                                                                                                                                  
• Must possess basic computer skills                                                                                                                      
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent if required by work location                                                                                   
• Experience working in the field of human services preferred    

Essential Functions:

• Arranges trips and schedules of drivers using the most time efficient and cost effective routes
• Supervises drivers to ensure individuals are transported in a safe, timely and courteous manner
• Ensures vehicles are clean and in good repair by performing daily review of each vehicle utilizing the approved vehicle checklist
• Monitors the maintenance of the vehicles and maintains all documentation according to the regulatory agencies
• Provides training to staff in defensive driving and other required topics
• Performs all other duties as assigned
