Job Summary
This is a key member of the Health Safety and Environmental team. Preforms incident intake and investigate claims against company for workers' compensation, liability, property loss or damages and attempts to effect out-of-court settlement with claimants.
Key Responsibilities
- Administers the incident handling process for the company including customer support to the project and employees.
- Coordinates among company managers, field employees, insurance claims handlers, the public and physicians to investigate and process claims for workers compensation and liability claims.
- Participates in activities to support the company's strategic planning efforts.
- Responsible for the maintenance of OSHA records.
Minimum Job Requirements
- 2+ years in construction preferred.
- 4+ years handling workers compensation and liability claims.
- HS diploma or equivalent, associates preferred.
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
- Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day
- Will lift, push or pull objects pounds on an occasional basis
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
- Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
