About this role

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Seasonal Nelson Farm Pool Manager position is to professionally manage all aspects of the Nelson Farm Pool facilities including the Check-In Building, Locker Rooms, Pools, and Nellie’s Bar/Restaurant to ensure club member satisfaction in both product and service provided to the Suncadia & Tumble Creek Club members, their extended families, member guests, and any potential members that visit the facilities. Participate as a member of the resort team in building teamwork, effectiveness of services and the overall character of the resort experience.

 

Salary: $26.00/hour

 

This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates:

  • Season Start: 5/3/2026
  • Season End: 10/4/2026

Responsibilities

• Manage daily facility operations budget including, revenues, cost of sales, labor and expenses.• Assist Director in reforecasting financials monthly to ensure accuracy of projected year end results.• Assist with development and maintenance of training/procedural manuals for all areas within the Nelson Farm Pool Facility (Check-In Building, Locker Rooms, Pools, and Nellie’s Bar/Restaurant)• Create and implement comprehensive training program for all new facility staff.• Ensure staff understands and is trained on controlling access to the facilities for Suncadia and Tumble Creek club members, their extended family and accompanied guests.• Ensure all daily operations are administered according to the established policies and procedures• Create staff schedules, correct bi-weekly timesheets and ensure overtime is kept to a minimum.• Assist in ordering of all supplies needed to successfully operate the facility based on varying/seasonal demands.• Develop, coordinate and implement activities and events at the Nelson Farm Pool facility in collaboration with the Suncadia Club and Tumble Creek Club Membership Directors and Director of Club Pursuits.• Follow up in a timely manner to all guest, member and staff requests or inquires.• Facilitate/lead weekly, monthly and/or quarterly team meetings and trainings.• Assess the need for and makes recommendations regarding services and equipment needed.• Ensure member and associate safety in all areas of the club through on-going training and monthly safety topics.• Personally, greet each club member as they enter facilities with a smile and their first or last name, depending on their preference.• Conducts tours of facilities with prospective members.• Maintains accurate retail billing records for accounting with legible handwriting.• Works with engineering staff members to ensure facility is maintain at the highest standards possible.• Develop soft programming offerings throughout the year• All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in pools and/or restaurants is required.• Strong organizational skills and oral and written communication skills.• Current Certification in CPR & First Aid is required.• Current Certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding is required• Current CPO or AFO certification, is preferred• Proficiency in word processing/computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Springer Miller)• Excellent telephone skills.• Energetic self-starter with strong work ethic.• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.• Proven ability to meet and work with the public.• Ability to engage in social conversation with members and guests to promote positive relations.• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with a smile.

• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit;• Must be able to read, write and speak English;• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
