Overview

As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for providing a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and checking on guest satisfaction. As the individual with the longest and closest contact with guests, you will have the ability to create memorable guest experiences and influence guest impression of the restaurant and lounge.

Salary: $17.13/hour

This is a Seasonal position with targeted start and end dates:

• Season Start: February 1 – May 15
• Season End: October 31

Hours will fluctuate as business levels rise and fall throughout the season. Peak season, with the most hours, is typically May – October.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically welcome guests into the restaurant. 
• Share your knowledge and recommendations of the drink and food menu 
• Quality check the product before delivering drinks and/or food
• Monitor assigned section for customer satisfaction, quality, and additional service
• Address any guest issue promptly and with concern
• Assist fellow servers whenever possible
• Basic bartending, when specified by supervisor
• Comply with all Washington State safety, health and labor regulations
• Comply with all Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Qualifications

• Current Washington state food handler permit required within 30-days of hire;
• Current Washington state liquor license required wihthin 30-days of hire;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Great communication and guest service skills
• Minimum 1-year of previous serving and/or restaurant experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older;
• Ability to learn basic bartending skills; willing to occasional work bar shifts; if over 21 years old
