Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC professional to support the delivery, installation, service, and troubleshooting of rented HVAC equipment. This role requires strong technical abilities, excellent customer service, and consistent adherence to safety standards. You will work directly with customers, managers, and sales engineers to ensure timely and accurate equipment handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls
- Deliver and install rented HVAC equipment; train authorized operators/customers on safe and proper equipment use
- Ensure appropriate paperwork is signed and maintain accurate serial‑number tracking
- Diagnose issues and fully understand the operation, specifications, capabilities, and controls of all rental equipment
- Safely operate company vehicles while following all company safety policies
- Clean, inspect, and test returned equipment to ensure proper operation and appearance
- Complete all paperwork related to deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls
- Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural gas applications
- Follow proper safety procedures when checking gas connections
- Work with managers and sales engineers to maintain accurate records of both in‑stock and rented equipment
- Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for emergency service calls, including evenings and weekends
Requirements
Education & Experience
- 5+ years of HVAC experience
- HVAC Certificate demonstrating formal training and legal authorization to work on refrigeration systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills
Licenses & Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no points)
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work after-hours and weekends during peak periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and install equipment as required
Base Pay Range
