JOB TITLE: Warehouse Attendant-Used Oil
LOCATION: Houston, TX
POSITION REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
SCHEDULE: Hours TBD by manager. Weekends required, some overtime to be expected.
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, position and location
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow instructions, and maintain compliance with company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
- Execute loading and unloading operations
- Inspect and verify products before storing in warehouse
- Deliver, stock, fulfill, and count inventory
- Keep work area neat and organized
- Work with a team to ensure quality, delivery and timeliness of orders are met
- Maintain and service company equipment
- Operate forklift to handle products and warehouse materials
- Operate pumps, motors and electrical devices
- Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with established safety procedures and practices
- Other tasks and projects as assigned by manager
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal
- Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel overnight if needed
- Must have a valid driver' license and a good driving record
- Must be able to pass background screening
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Stable employment history
- Ability to operate a fork lift effectively
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as full hoses (minimum of 50 lbs.)
- Ability to get along with others and work well in a fast paced team environment
- Good basic math skills
- Ability to work from elevated heights
PREFERRED
- Familiarity with oil products
