It allows customizing analytics and workflows with a no-code interface.</p><p>Over 4,000 clients — including Bitpanda, Wirex, Avis, Bybit, Vodafone, Duolingo, Kaizen Gaming, and TransferGo — trust Sumsub to accelerate growth, prevent fraud, and maintain compliance worldwide.<br></p><p>Now we are looking for a System Engineer to support, maintain, and continuously improve our internal infrastructure and systems used across the company. This role is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on DevOps and system engineering with real ownership over internal operations, working closely with multiple teams to keep the company running smoothly and efficiently.<br></p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Design, deploy, and maintain internal infrastructure and services, including containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.</p></li><li><p>Support internal tools and platforms, working closely with internal developers to deploy and operate applications.</p></li><li><p>Ensure secure access to internal systems through access reviews, permission audits, and clear operational documentation.</p></li><li><p>Participate in incident management and operational processes, including automation of internal workflows, finance-related tooling, and vendor coordination.</p></li><li><p>Support and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (primarily GitLab) and maintain web infrastructure such as Nginx.</p></li><li><p>Monitor system health, performance, and availability; troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-level issues.</p></li><li><p>Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions for internal systems.<br></p></li></ul><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container-based environments, and practical experience with Kubernetes.</p></li><li><p>Experience configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Nginx and Linux-based systems, with a good understanding of networking fundamentals.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working with internal systems and platforms, including access reviews, permission audits, and security-related operational tasks.</p></li><li><p>Experience or strong interest in building and supporting internal operational and finance-related systems, such as cost tracking, usage monitoring, and automation.</p></li><li><p>Able to investigate incidents, work with audit logs, identify root causes, and support post-incident reviews and remediation.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and organizational skills, able to collaborate with engineers, finance, security, and other stakeholders, and to clearly document processes and decisions.<br></p></li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong><br></p><ul><li><p><strong>Remote-first, trust-based culture.</strong> Work from the place that works best for you.
