Your role and responsibilities 

 

You will:

  • Have direct case responsibility for a cohort of pupils with EHC Plans in local mainstream and specialist settings
  • Monitor progress through annual reviews and ensure EHC Plans remain current and relevant
  • Draft and amend EHC plans ensuring these are of good quality and within statutory timescale
  • Act as Lead Professional, coordinating input from other agencies as required
  • Maintain accurate case records and provide reports
  • Identify and escalate safeguarding/risk concerns
  • Build relationships with partners in education, health, and community settings
  • Provide high quality customer service in line with our WE ASPIRE values.

 

You will need:

  • Graduate level qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to build relationships and create a climate for positive change
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working directly with children, families and multi-agency partners
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
