Rose Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint an Attendance and Safeguarding Assistant to support the wellbeing and personal development of the pupils at Rose Hill Primary School.

You will:
- assistant the designated safeguarding lead
- monitor daily attendance
- work with parents to provide support where necessary
- perform the duties of medical lead
- co-ordinate external early help
- manage referrals and record keeping
- support pupils to have a healthy therapeutic balance.
You will have:
- experience in a pastoral, counselling, or similar role within an education setting
- empathy, patience, and non-judgmental approach
- excellent communication and IT skills
- the ability to prioritise work including multi-tasking
- a good understanding of the need to always maintain professional confidentiality
- good English and mathematics skills (grade C or level 4 or above).

What you'll do
- The Attendance and Safeguarding Assistant will support the wellbeing and personal development of pupils, monitor attendance, and coordinate external early help. They will also manage referrals and record keeping while assisting the designated safeguarding lead.
