Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to manage our company's financial obligations. In this role, you will ensure the accurate processing of invoices, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support the monthly closing process. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who brings both technical proficiency and a collaborative mindset to our finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Management: Review, code, and process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy, ensuring proper departmental approvals.
Payment Processing: Prepare and execute weekly payment runs via ACH, wire transfers, and checks.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or past-due balances.
Compliance & Filing: Maintain digital and physical financial records; assist with 1099 filings and annual audit preparations.
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and internal departmental billing questions.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience specifically in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks).
Competencies: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict financial deadlines.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. This position is not bonus eligible.
