About this role

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
High School diploma/G.E.D. (foreign equivalent or higher). Research experience in an experimental laboratory. Experience with Labview.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with NiDAQ image processing software.

Brief Description of Duties:
The project Aide will work with other researchers in the group to develop data acquisition and analysis software for the TPX3CAM. Perform measurements of laser driven molecular ionization and dissociation using the TPX3CAM. Analyze measurements taken with the TPX3CAM using covariance calculations.

  • Test out new camera system.  Develop Labview based software for experiments TimPix Camera 
  • Implement a new data acquisition system into experiments and help graduate students to acquire new measurements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Non Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
