
Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Plant Operations will assist the Director of Plant Operations to set the priorities and long range goals of the Plant Operations Department as well as handle all personnel transactions for the department. This position is responsible for evaluating and implementing new policies and procedures and will assist the Director of Plant Operations to develop finical goals and long-term operations costs.
Duties:
30%25: Effectively manage assigned staff and budgets of the East Campus HSC/BST Plant Operations departments which include: Electrical, HVAC and Refrigeration, Plumbing, Plant Operations Administration, Structural, Lock Shop, Grounds and East Campus HS and BST Garages
25%25: Responsible for the oversight of all East Campus service and maintenance contracts
25%25: Set short and long term department goals
15%25: Develop quality controls and improvements
5%25: Review and implementation of all Plant Operations Policies and Procedures

Anticipated Pay Range:
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position is $120,747 - $150,000 / year.
The above salary range represents SBUH’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate’s validated years of comparable experience. Any efforts to inflate or misrepresent experience are grounds for disqualification from the application process or termination of employment if hired.
