Title: Licensed Massage Therapist
Location: Montgomery, TX
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Status: Part-time- on-call.
Reports to: Spa and Fitness Director
Pay Range: $7.25HR + Commission
Job Summary: The Licensed Massage Therapist provides professional massage, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies to spa guests based on their needs and preferences. This role ensures that all treatments are performed according to spa procedures while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and safety.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Greet and welcome spa guests, informing them of available packages, promotions, and rates.
Maintain knowledge of all treatments and explain options to guests.
Evaluate guests’ medical history and physical condition to develop customized treatment plans.
Perform massages and body treatments according to spa procedures and within allotted time frames.
Maintain detailed treatment records for each guest.
Prepare and blend oils for treatments, applying them to guests' skin as needed.
Clean, sanitize, and prepare the treatment area and equipment before each session.
Assist with daily removal and replenishment of linens.
Conduct tours of the spa facility for guests.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and pleasant spa experience.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
Current state licensure and certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
Strong knowledge of massage therapy techniques, including anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities.
Experience in providing customized massage treatments based on client needs and preferences.
Excellent communication skills to consult with guests about their medical history and treatment options.
Ability to maintain detailed records of treatments and ensure confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide professional and courteous service to guests.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and safety.
Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and continuously learn new massage and bodywork techniques.
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor spa environment, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Frequent standing, walking, and performing physical tasks, such as massages and body treatments.
Must be able to lift and move supplies weighing up to 25 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting of more than 50 lbs with assistance.
Must follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
