JOB SUMMARY

 

The Order Fulfillment Team Member plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials throughout StoneAge’s manufacturing and distribution processes. This includes managing material movement for manufacturing and order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.

 

In this role, you'll be responsible for pulling, issuing, stocking, receiving, and shipping products while maintaining accurate inventory records and exceeding expectations for both internal and external customers. Flexibility is key—team members are expected to shift quickly into other fulfillment roles as needed to support changing priorities.

This position reports to the Order Fulfillment Manager

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with fellow team members to meet daily workflow and shipping goals.
  • Maintain strong communication to stay aligned with hourly and shift priorities.
  • Use StoneAge’s ERP and handheld scanning systems to manage all inventory and fulfillment operations.
  • Pull, issue, receive, and stock materials for assembly teams and warehouse inventory.
  • Process inbound shipments from carriers including UPS, FedEx, and freight providers.
  • Accurately label inventory and maintain shelf organization.
  • Conduct and record inventory cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Pick, double-check, pack/palletize, and ship customer orders, maintaining a 99.5%+ order accuracy and on-time shipping rate.
  • Prioritize daily shipments to meet carrier deadlines using order consolidation dashboards.
  • Partner with the Sales team to provide freight quotes and resolve shipping inquiries.
  • Participate actively in continuous improvement efforts, suggesting and implementing enhancements.
  • Assess warehouse space and environmental needs, and communicate facility requirements.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and handheld inventory management tools (training provided).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Understanding of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management.
  • Agile and adaptable in meeting internal and external customer needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and committed to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Positive, proactive team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Safety-first mindset in all tasks and environments.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. using proper technique.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak times or staff shortages.

 

PERFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in warehousing or fulfillment roles.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping processes.
