Job Title: Wire Analyst        

Department: EFT Services

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Hours of Operation: 8AM – 5PM Monday – Friday

 

General Job Summary:

Process wire transactions in support of both retail and business customers.  Responsibilities include reviewing and processing Wire transactions in conjunction with bank policy, risk mitigation efforts, application of complex rules and regulations, statistical reporting, customer service support and reconciliation functions.             

Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process wire transactions while meeting processing deadlines, adhering to regulations and bank policy. 
  • Routine communication with high profile business and consumer customers orally and in writing.
  • Maintain OFAC requirements and guidelines in processing all transactions.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Working Conditions:

Inside work, mainly sitting or standing, using a computer with various programs

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Experience: 2 + years of banking experience, Deposit Operations preferred.

  • Employees are expected to represent Stock Yards Bank & Trust in a professional manner to customers and outside contacts.
  • Employees must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, consisting of the ability to write and speak effectively to others. Employees must be a productive team player, with the ability to learn, apply training and comprehend policies and procedures. Employees should also be flexible to changing working situations and able to meet deadlines as they arise.

Specific Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize and distribute daily work flow to meet deadlines and goals. 
  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of all processes and procedures required to process Wire Transfers.
  • Proficiency in accuracy and attention to detail a necessity, as wire transfer transactions are processed as immediate, final, and irrevocable funds.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficient

Specialized: Maintain knowledge of rules regarding OFAC and wire transfers
