Job Title: Wealth Advisor

FLSA Status: Exempt          

Department: Wealth Management & Trust

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm 

 

General Job Summary:

Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for high net worth clients, build, solidify, and expand client relationships, strategize and assist with the resolution of complex issues, and implement wealth management strategies in collaboration with the client’s other advisors (such as attorneys and accountants).

Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and intimate knowledge of the client’s entire financial and family situation.  Establish a level of trust and confidence with the client so that any financial issues can be addressed and solutions offered
  • Partner with internal and external resources to meet estate and financial planning goals of current clients through holistic wealth management strategies
  • Ability to understand, apply, and communicate estate and financial planning concepts to clients, while managing multifaceted accounts
  • Review and assist with the development of tax, estate, and financial analyses and plans.  Collaborate with other planning resources on specific subject matters and partners in the acquisition of new clients
  • Attract and retain high net worth clients through existing customer base, centers of influence, prospecting and referrals
  • Administer trusts in accordance with provisions of the governing instrument while maintaining compliance with fiduciary obligations and internal policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other professional advisors of client to support overall planning needs

 

Working Conditions: Springdale. Some travel to off-site locations also required.

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree is required; a JD, CFP, CTFA or CPA designation is preferred
  • Higher level education such as a Master’s degree, PHD, or certifications is desirable
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience may be considered

Experience: 3 or more years of experience required in similar or related field.

  • Knowledge and ability to determine and satisfy client needs and maintain a partnering relationship
  • Understanding of the issues related to the decision making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions

Specialized: Thorough knowledge of trust operating policies and procedures

 

Supervisory Responsibility: May be responsible for the supervision of an administrative assistant
