Job Title: Maintenance I

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Facilities

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

 

General Job Summary:

Maintain Main Office properties and provide maintenance where appropriate.

Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures
  • Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • See that routine maintenance at Main Office campus is performed as follows:
    • Replace light bulbs and ceiling tiles, minor furniture or equipment repair, kitchen / bathroom maintenance, etc.
    • Check heating / air units for proper operation
    • Check irrigation systems and settings
    • Check, reset, change timers for lighting, irrigation and other systems
    • Replace batteries in thermostats, clocks, and other equipment annually
    • Check thermostat settings and recommend service on HVAC units as necessary
  • Oversee and supplement outside cleaning services to ensure clean properties including leaf and snow removal and spreading a de-icing agent during inclement weather
  • Provide grounds-keeping, ensuring Main Office campus has nice and appealing appearance. Maintaining the Courtyard and entrances from leaves and debris
  • Work with contractors / vendors for problem solving and assistance
  • Review properties regularly for maintenance deficiencies and e-mail report to Maintenance Manager
  • Receive goods shipped to the bank
  • Count items and verify with packing slip
  • Correctly mark purchase orders, maintain records and either store items or set up for delivery
  • Stock and maintain company store
  • Collect and maintain shredding containers
  • Unload truck deliveries to bank and expedite to various departments
  • Assist in alarm testing and maintenance. Work with fire alarm contractor, FM 200 testing
  • Assist marketing department with bank events
  • Assist Maintenance Manager as requested and necessary

Other Functions:

  • Oversee portions of landscape work done at the Main Office campus and report findings to Maintenance Manager
  • Keep receiving and storage area clean and organized
  • Fill in for opening duties of Maintenance II - 4 weeks a year

 

Working Conditions: Works within all the bank buildings and branch offices and outside those offices and operates the Bank’s maintenance van

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: High School or GED equivalent

Experience:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems operations very helpful

Specific Skills:

  • Dependability is a must
  • Operate a forklift (training is required)
  • Ability to make good decision and sound judgments, required
  • Mechanical background beneficial
