Job Title: Financial Advisor 

FLSA Status: Exempt          

Department: Investment Services (Brokerage)

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm             

 

General Job Summary:

Provide financial advice to clients to help them meet their financial goals according to their time frame, risk tolerance, and objectives. 

Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and locate clients
  • Set appointments
  • Meet prospects to analyze their unique financial needs
  • Prepare financial plans
  • Recommend/sell specific, appropriate products
  • Network with business partners to create opportunities
  • Service current accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Working Conditions:

Office setting – Travel to branch offices required

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: BA/BS Required

Experience: 2 years of Brokerage experience and at least $200,000 in prior 12-month trail in commissions

Licenses: Series 7, 66 or 63/65 combo and Insurance License
