Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Review, process and obtain approvals for general vendor invoices prior to payment
- Obtain approvals and signatures on all cheques
- Ensure the invoices/employee expenses are coded correctly
- Perform credit card and back account reconciliation
- Process Claims requisition for payments
- Address any internal and external Accounts Payable inquiries on a timely basis
- Assist finance team members as required
- Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of core accounts payable experience, preferably gained at a financial service company
- Knowledge of basic principles of accounting policies and procedures
- Excellent time management and highly detail orientated
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Experience working on an accounting ERP system is an asset
Salary Range - $60,000 to $65,000 Annually
