General Summary

 

The Sr. Planner - Temp is responsible for merchandise planning to achieve company sales, margin, turnover and flow projections. This position supports the Wholesale business.

 

The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and forecast customer sales, selling plans, receipt plans, markdowns, turn, and gross margin
  • Able to facilitate 6 month flows from bottoms up
  • Responsible for allowances, markdowns and internal/external sales plans
  • Assists with inventory forecasting in support with the division President and Production Manager
  • Work closely with account executives to review, analyze and initiate change in ladders, orders and sales
  • Evaluate economic trends in forecasting future business trends
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AS/400 system and Retail math
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills

 

 

 

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 - $120,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
