About this role

This is a Temporary Position.

 

General Summary

 

The Showroom Assistant is responsible for answering of incoming phone calls, greet visitors and perform miscellaneous office duties for weekly operations at the showroom. This position supports the Wholesale business.

The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role.  This position is based in our ATL office and requires working on-site five days per week.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs Reception duties for meetings and appointments
  • Purchase order entry
  • Track shipping
  • Collate selling reports from wholesale accounts into excel files
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring showroom
  • Keep track of all in going and outgoing samples
  • Managing and tracking all office related orders
  • Communicate effectively with multiple teams
  • Manages showroom calendars and monitors appointments
  • Track Expense Reports and invoices
  • Arranges for maintenance for company business machines (i.e. copiers, etc.)
  • Arranges seating for new employees
  • Communicates all office delivery needs for showroom and other offices (i.e. showroom supplies, etc.)
  • Sends emails for various company functions
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

 

Specific Job Skills:

 

Essential duties include

  • Under general supervision, solves problems for self
  • Majority of decisions are made utilizing established policies and procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math skills
  • Operates simple equipment such as telephone, copy machine, and fax machines
  • Work responsibilities occasionally concern confidential and/or sensitive information requiring the use of discretion
  • Teamwork and cooperation are essential to the successful completion of own and other job duties
  • Ability to understand and follow somewhat complex verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with others

 

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills

 

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $20.00-$25.00. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
