About this role

General Summary

 

The Product Coordinator is responsible for gathering, cataloging and creating all materials required to make product offerings to customers and secure the samples required for the division. This position supports the Wholesale business.

 

The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role.  This position is based in our LIC  office and requires working on-site.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Order and catalog development samples at the direction of VP of Product Development
  • Showroom set-up in advance of shoe shows and customer appointments
  • Secure and catalog price quotes from vendors on all international development styles
  • Liaise with domestic product teams to determine availability and details of previously purchased product
  • Creation, maintenance and distribution of line sheets and PO forms in advance of shoe shows
  • Creation, maintenance and distribution of weekly buy catalogues and PO forms
  • Alerting the sales and customer service teams when changes occur to style details or specifications, which may affect their orders
  • Liaise with product development teams to ensure product spec sheets are properly executed based on customer requests
  • Coordination of product photography, naming and storage
  • Coordination and tracking of sales sample requests for customers
  • Communication, verbal and written internal as well as external
  • May be required to attend domestic or international based shoe shows
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

  • Independently examines complex information and/or situation, evaluates potential impact, options and makes recommendations.
  • Interpersonal interactions such as negotiating, selling, making group presentations
  • Ability to perform complex verbal and written communications face to face and in group settings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in the arts or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in fashion or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD systems, M3 Order system and AS400.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Organized, able to set priorities and a self-starter.

 

 

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $26.45/hr - $28.85/hr. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
