Stellantis’ Product Development and Technology (PDT) organization is shaping the future of mobility by building cutting-edge products and service experiences in the fast-evolving world of automotive technology. As part of that foundation, we are seeking an experienced and passionate engineer to lead the software development activities within the Body & Climate Application Software teams. 
This person will be part of Core Application Software (SWCP) department, which is responsible for the design, development, and validation of platform-level application software features for both current and next-generation vehicle controllers.

Seeking an experienced professional with a minimum of 8 years in the automotive embedded software, capable of leading development of the Body Software Application Layer. The role requires strong expertise in Model-Based Design (Simulink), Agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and solid knowledge of Autostar and ISO 26262 standards.
 
Key Responsibilities as a Technical Program Manager:
  • Lead the development and validation of Body Application Software.
  • Manage application backlog (defects and evolutions), monitor efficiency KPIs and
    arbitrate workload priorities.

  • Support application teams in resolving complex technical issues
  • Identify, track, and manage development dependencies and risks.
  • Synchronize with the Full-Stack TPM to coordinate delivery schedules and support
    cross-team technical issues resolution.

  • Drive Agile rituals with feature developers (PI Planning, daily stand-ups, etc.) and report
    project status to Core Application Software leadership.

  • Enforce internal quality standards and support internal and external quality audits.
  • Propose and rollout development or organizational improvements to optimize team
    efficiency and deliverable quality.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment with global software strategy.
 
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive embedded software development in at least one domain: Body, Climate, Powertrain, ADAS, Cockpit.
  • Experience with Model-Based Design toolchains (Simulink, TargetLink or similar).
  • Strong experience working within an Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive product development processes/norms such as ASPICE and ISO 26262.
  • Strong analytical and interdisciplinary problem solving skills, like 5W and Ishikawa.-
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork skills in a global, distributed environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science.
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing safe and secure software solutions for complex real-time embedded platforms.
  • Good development experience in C/C++ and/or automatic code generation (RTW,
  • TargeLink or similar).
  • Hands-on experience working with AUTOSAR (Classic & Adaptive) concepts,
    architecture, specifications and configuration tools.

  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, experience in authoring ASIL compliant software code.
  • Familiarity with industry standard software development tools for requirements
    management, architecture/design/analysis and configuration management.
