About this role

Supply Chain Management (SCM) seeks a highly motivated individual to join the Releasing/Forecasting Supply Chain team. The role manages executive reporting and system data integrity, working with system analysts to support these functions. This position provides experience in automotive supply chain operations and manufacturing build tracking in a high-activity setting. Support weekly release process which requires remote support Friday through Saturday, with approved overtime compensation. Exposure to cross-functional teams outside of Supply Chain, for example MLM, Finance, ICT, Engineering and/or the external supply base, is to be expected. 

 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Executive & Supplier Communication Report Out: Maintain and publish KPI reporting such as PC1 assembly scheduled vs. actual daily production including but not limited to system reporting tied to CSDS, CHIERS & VBASS. Support weekly supplier call presentation to communicate notable approved program actions impacting supplier forecast.  Support &/or facilitate weekly supplier calls
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various SCM teams, manufacturing (MLM), Brands, ICT and Engineering to support seamless weekly Vehicle & Part Forecasting
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to aid in trouble shooting identified release discrepancies and leveraging available BI tools for departmental and executive report out
  • Part Release Authorization & Vehicle Forecasting: Collaborate with vehicle Platform & Demand planning teams on timely release program processing for VBASS & CHIERS. Remote support will be required Friday through Saturday with approved OT compensation

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with supply chain management systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, BI apps, Qlik Sense) is a plus but not required
