Principal Responsibilities:
Assist in all duties of Treating Engineer and related tasks
Operate forklift, and limited operating of front-end loader
Accurately filling out required records daily and as required
Cleaning/greasing trams and drip pads
Handling, disposal and storing hazardous waste
Assist in Lock Out/Tag Out and Confined Space
Proper handling and mixing of chemicals, preservative and oil
Preventative maintenance and assisting in repairs
Operate certain aspects of treating at or above target production levels
Participates and contributes to company safety program
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required plant safety orientation
Pass the state pesticide certification exam
Respiratory training and pass the medical exam and fit test (clean shaved face may be required)
Solid knowledge of all federal and state regulations related to the treating department
Solid knowledge of quality control standards related to the treating department
Complete all required “Continuous Education Units” to keep pesticide certification
Solid knowledge on hazardous waste regulations
Performs other related duties as assigned
