About this role

While working safely at all times. The slasher operator is a customer of warping and supplier to the weaving and entering departments. The operator is responsible for producing the highest quality warps, while running efficiently. He/she will mix size according to formula while also making sure that temperature and time requirements have been met. He/she will set machines, make adjustments when needed, and monitor the machine throughout the slashing process and also handle and transport materials (e.g., beams). Slasher operator is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of his/her machine at all times, following weekly TPM cleaning and audit schedule, and using the lock out tag out program. He/she will complete all paperwork and computer based information systems. Maintain all records according to ISO *AS9100 standards.

Qualifications
 Scope of Responsibilities:  
1.  Warp supplier for weave and entering processes
2.  Mixing sizes according to formulas
3.  Set machines, make adjustments, and monitor the process
4.  Transport, doff, lease, and start new beams
5.  TPM and cleaning of all machines
6.  Maintain all records according to ISO AS9100 standards
   
 Job Specifications:
1.  0-3 years experience  
2.  Basic math abilities for calculating materials needed
3.  General computer knowledge   
4.  Able to use material handling equipment (hoist, hand jack)
5.  Must pass slasher pre-hire test
6.  Must be able to work in a tight, confined area without damaging yarn
