Robotic Welder Operators – Be the Expert Behind the Precision.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals with experience in robotic welding systems and a commitment to precision, quality, and consistency.
In this role, you will operate robotic welding equipment, interpret blueprints and welding symbols, perform quality checks, and work closely with fabrication and quality teams to ensure every part is built right the first time.
What You’ll Do
Operate robotic welding equipment on various metals and materials
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
Monitor weld quality, identify defects, and make adjustments as needed
Perform stud welding and/or metal finishing when required
Complete quality inspections using precision measuring tools
Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues
Accurately log job details into our ERP system and complete required paperwork
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience and/or Training:
• Knowledge and experience of GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in production welding position.
• Must obtain necessary weld certifications.
• Must possess proficiency in math (adding, subtracting, converting decimals, and fractions)
• Must possess proficiency in measurement skills (tape measure, protractor, height gauge, and caliper)
• Must possess proficiency in geometry (angles, radius, circumference, etc.)
• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Must possess proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Must possess proficiency in interpreting weld symbols.
• Knowledge of reading, writing, and understanding work instructions, work orders, or customer specifications.

Experience and/or Training:
• Knowledge and experience of GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
• Exposure to Shoplogix data entry
Physical and Mental Demands
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move between work areas.
• Regularly required to talk and listen, as well as climb, balance, and reach above shoulder level.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
• The employee must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.

Working Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where loud noise exposure is regular and frequent. Additionally, there is a regular exposure on the production floor to dust, metal debris, changes in ambient temperature, and requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
