The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB), Vermont's independent health care regulatory agency, is seeking a Deputy Director of Health Systems Finances to support our mission of reducing health care costs while improving access and quality of care for all. This position will help lead the Health Systems Finance Team in its financial oversight work relating to the financial budgets and inter-period reporting of Vermont's 14 Community Hospitals and the Brattleboro Retreat.

Work is performed in a standard office setting. Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular work schedule may be anticipated.
Master's degree in business administration, public administration, or related field AND two (2) years or more in public administration, tax administration, or managing complex projects in a public setting.
OR
Bachelor's degree in business administration, mathematics, accounting, or related field AND six (6) years or more in public administration, tax administration, or managing complex projects in a public setting.
OR
Eight (8) years or more in public administration, tax administration, or managing complex projects in a public setting.
Master's degree.
Experience with organizational change management.
