As an Administrative Assistant under the Boating Facilities Program, you will provide administrative support to the Boating Facilities Program Manager and Boating Facilities Program team which includes engineer, designers and environmental permitting specialist.
The Administrative Assistant assists the program in person, in the Salem office, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule to meet agency and department missions. For a full review of the position description, please click here.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requested Attributes:
Demonstrated customer service experience gained in a professional setting, including providing customer service to both internal and external customers.
Experience producing written correspondence at the professional level on behalf of an organization, team, or member of leadership.
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.
Demonstrated skill and experience supporting a workplace organization.
High attention to detail, including proofreading and data review.
Maintain strong collaborative working relationships among cross functional teams within the agency.
Preference:
Preference may be given to those with a broad-based knowledge of recreational boating safety and geography of Oregon.
